I turned 27 on 12th! Yaay! Happy Birthday to me!

Ever since I was a child, I have taken my birthday very seriously. I think a little too seriously at times! On my birthday I have always felt like I am the princess of this world and nothing ever matters! My birthday came with me expecting tons of things from people in my inner circle. And those expectations eventually lead to disappointments! But it’s been 2 years now since I have realised that I cannot look for happiness outside of me. I cannot expect people to do things for me on my birthday (or ever) to make me happy, to make me smile. I need to and have to find happiness WITHIN ME and that is non-negotiable! And on account of this, I decided to do a lot of things SOLO this year!

 Last year, I took a trip to Mumbai where my brother is studying and spent my birthday there with him. I detached myself from any expectations from people in my life and planned my birthday myself and filled it with all the things that make me happy.

This year got even better! Let me give you a back story. At the end of last year, I made my vision board for this year that is for 2025. And for my birthday, this is what I wrote-

The creator indeed planned my birthday for me!!!!!!!!!

First. I have recently fallen in love with Paresh Pahuja. He is a singer, songwriter and actor and is famous for his role in Bandish Bandits as Mahi and he is also known for his song ‘Dooron Dooron’. I heard his unplugged version of Dooron Dooron and I FELL IN LOVE. FLAT!!!!! Now he announced his India tour. At first, I was like okay, I wish I could have attended this, if it was in Nagpur. How will I travel for his concert? Seemed very rare of a thing to happen in my favour. One of his concert dates was 12th APRIL, I mean what are the chances? And the icing on the cake? The concert on 12th April was in Bangalore, one of the cities I dearly love since I have lived there for about a year when I was pursuing pastry arts and also personally consider safe to travel alone!

Second. I have been wanting to solo travel on this birthday. I was in the process of searching for places that are safe and accessible from my hometown and where pappa won’t have a problem sending me alone (considering he loves me way too much and might be a bit over possessive and over protective for me. I don’t blame him for it though, he is a sweetheart). I did narrow down a few options but was not sure because this was the first time I would have been travelling solo so I also had some reservations!

But then. Something just CLICKED!!!!

I put the pieces together and there it was. “My birthday planned and curated by the creator so beautifully with EVERYTHING THAT I LOVE – “travelling solo, Bangalore, a live music concert on the day of my birthday by an artist I love so much”!!!!!!! 

And the best part? I GIFTED MYSELF THE FRONT ROW SEATS TO PARESH’S CONCERT!!!!! Where a meet and greet was involved!!!!!!!!!!!

Paresh is without a doubt one of the sweetest, kind, humble and grounded person I have met. Meeting him was a feeling I really cannot put in words! His presence, his songs, his aura, hi vibrations made it THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT I COULD HAVE ASKED FOR!       The VOICE NOTES CONCERT (what an innovative concept!) was a one of its kind concerts. Every single arrangement was so warm- chai at a concert (yes pleaseeeeeeee!), get your polaroids taken, paint for the artist, everything was meant to make you feel warm and fuzzy, like you are back home!

The universe and the creator really work in mysterious ways you guys. You really got to trust and have faith. It really does pan out for you in the most beautiful way, ever!

Let me tell me the most important things that helped me manifest this birthday through the creator.

1)    I did a belief work session (thetahealing session) to make sure I have no blocks about having the best birthday ever. That is how you need to manifest!

2)    I truly surrendered and had faith in the creator.

3)    I did not doubt that my birthday will be beautiful, one tiny bit!

4)    I did not bother myself with the HOW of it all. How will it happen? Who will make it happen? Nope. Nothing. I just knew it would.
